THE MONOLOGUE SLAM EXPERIENCE

The Monologue Slam is Soul Soirée's signature event — the largest recurring live performance showcase for the BIPOC arts community in the country. Founded in New York City and expanded to Los Angeles, The Slam is a high-energy theatrical experience featuring original and published works drawn from poetry, stage, and film before a packed live audience.

More than a competition, The Monologue Slam is a cultural moment. Each show is curated with the precision of a major live production and the intimacy only Soul Soirée can deliver. The result is a room that is electric — 750+ attendees united by a shared love of art, performance, and community.

Since our founding, The Slam has attracted partnerships with BET and D'USSÉ, and has been featured in Good Morning America, Deadline, and Blex Media.

The Monologue Slam is where rising voices meet established talent, where culture meets community, and where a night of live performance becomes something you'll be talking about long after the curtain falls.
